What are the U-POL product and coating ranges?

The primers

ACID Primer

This is a single-component adhesion primer. This primer is designed to generate paint adhesion directly on metal. With anti-corrosive properties, it is compatible with all types of paints, whether solvent-based or waterborne.

SYSTEM 20 Primers

This range includes U-POL's filling and high-build primers. Versatile, these 2-in-1 products can serve as a filling primer for localized repairs or as a surfacer primer for larger areas.

ISOPON ZINC 182 Primers

The ISOPON ZINC 182 primers are available in can or spray, and can be applied on ferrous metal surfaces provided rust debris is removed. Removing all rust will enhance their effectiveness. Once dry, they form a resistant and durable surface on which paint can be applied.

U-POL Putties

Expert Multifunction Putties

This two-component putty is ideal for medium load or finishing applications. Easy to sand, it leaves no porosity and does not require a finishing putty.

Extra Gold Putty

This is a two-component polyester putty used to fill holes and imperfections on most surfaces. Formulated for professionals, it combines good filling properties with ease of application and sanding.

Metal Support Putty

Versatile polyester putty reinforced with aluminum fibers for high adhesion on many surfaces. Ideal for alloy wheels, aluminum panels, or restorations requiring a metallic finish.

The clears

SYSTEM 20 Clear

These clears are compatible with all SYSTEM 20 products. Ideal for small repairs, they provide a very glossy finish, easy to polish and capable of drying in 30 minutes.

Maximum Clear

This clear provides good flow and sag resistance. Easy to polish, it can be air-dried or oven-baked while leaving a scratch and UV-resistant finish.
